Well, Peyton and I have been enjoying these free books so much. They are free in Georgia if you live in certain counties. I am not sure what they have in other states.
In Georgia, you should visit the Ferst Foundation website and see if your county qualifies.
In other states, check out the Dolly Parton Imagination Library and put your zip code in. They will send you to a local affiliate if one exists.
Anyway, the program is great. Peyton will get a free book every month until she starts kindergarten. About 80% of the books have been great, and the others are free--and books she can read on her own. Every one gets The Little Engine that Could at first and then age appropriate books after that.
